Many of the potential Members ask for an Invoice before the payment is made whether online or offline. Generate an invoice and share the same to the member so that you receive the payment from the Member. While generating the Invoice, the form will have an Effective date field. The Effective date and Effective till date is is the validity of the membership plan for which you generate the invoice. If you have generating this for an annualMembership plan, then the Effective date would be the Membership start date and the Effective Till date would be the date after an year.

Once the invoice is generated, a record is created for the newly generated invoice, the payment is not yet confirmed. Click the manage button of the recently generated invoice record. You will see an option to Download the invoice. 

Once you receive the payment from the Member, Click the manage button of the recently generated invoice record. You will see an option to “Confirm payment”. A payment confirmation popup comes up that has the date of Expiration as that of the Effective till date. You have the option to update the expiration date if needed.
