What is Public and Private[Invitation only] Event?

Event Types in Explara

Public Event

  • When an event is set as Public, anyone can view the event page and purchase tickets to attend.

Private (Invitation Only) Event

  • Unlike a Public event, an invitation-only event restricts registrations.

  • Only invitees (added and invited through the Explara dashboard) can register.

  • Others will still be able to see the event page, but the Buy Ticket / Register button will not be visible to them.

  • Instead, they will see a Request Access button, which allows them to ask the organizer for an invitation.
